It is proposed to construct a house, garage and associated services on a greenfield site in the townland of Drumsna, Co. Leitrim. The site is in an area of low ground to the south-east of a rath (SMR 31:87). Two other sites lie to the north-west: the site of an earthwork, probably another rath (SMR 31:86), and SMR 31:85, now occupied by a graveyard but formerly either a rath or a cashel. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping across the footprint of the house and the access driveway did not reveal anything of archaeological significance.
