Two small test-trenches were excavated, and the excavation of a trench for underpinning a modern wall was monitored, in the basement of Bridge House. These revealed the internal spine wall and the original front wall of the late medieval building that formed the northern part of Bridge House. The top of layers of medieval river silt was revealed beneath the buildings. No finds were uncovered.
