Testing was carried out on 15 March 2002 before the construction of a commercial housing development. The greenfield area encompassed 18,000m2, in which 850m of test-trenches was mechanically excavated to the surface of the subsoil. The depth of the topsoil varied from 0.3m to 1.2m. Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered.
