Monitoring of groundworks associated with the provision of a new classroom extension to Timolin national school was undertaken on 2 January 2002. Previous works at the site were monitored in 1996 (Excavations 1996, No. 202). The site is near a monastic complex founded in c. 1200. All site-clearance and foundation works associated with the construction of the extension and the provision of additional services were monitored. No features or finds of archaeological interest were uncovered in the areas disturbed by the development.
