Monitoring was carried out at a site in School Lane, Kill, Co. Kildare, on various dates in May 2002. Planning permission had been granted for the demolition of the existing structure on the site and the construction of three two-storey apartment blocks. The development site was just beyond the zone of archaeological potential of Kill. No archaeological deposits or finds were identified at any stage of this development. It is possible that some ground reduction had taken place here during previous development phases, and general root disturbance was also evident throughout much of the site.
