Monitoring of ground disturbance associated with the first phase of the development of 48 houses was undertaken at Muing West to comply with a planning condition. The development site was in the suburbs of Tralee, north-east of the town centre. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded in the area of House Sites 1–20.
