Pre-development testing was carried out at Manor West, Tralee, Co. Kerry, in November 2002. The area tested was adjacent to a large Bronze Age complex (Excavations 2000, No. 454, 00E0069). Eleven trenches, 2m wide and 6–16m long, were opened on the footprints of nineteen houses by a track machine and were cleaned down by hand. Nothing of archaeological significance was exposed or recovered.
