An assessment was undertaken on a house site in Steelrow, Killorglin. The site was in the zone of potential of the sites of two enclosures and a ringfort. Ground levels had been raised by c. 3m in the western part of the site when the N70 was improved. Test-trenches were dug on the footprint of the proposed development and in the area of the percolation. No archaeological stratigraphy or artefacts were recorded.
