Monitoring was undertaken of groundworks associated with an extension to a furniture and carpet centre at Laharan, Killorglin, Co. Kerry. The site had been much disturbed in the recent past by considerable dumping. The topsoil, where it survived, overlay a black peat layer (0.1–0.2m deep). No archaeological artefacts or deposits were encountered.
