Testing was requested before a grant of planning because of the proximity of part of the proposed development to a ringfort at Inchycullane, Kilcummin, Co. Kerry. Three trenches were excavated along the northern boundary of the site, within the zone of archaeological potential of the ringfort. No archaeological features were noted.
