Testing was carried out on a proposed development site of thirteen houses, which was not in the vicinity of any known archaeological monument. Much of the site is poorly drained and wet underfoot. A stream runs through the site. In Trench B, material was exposed that might have been indicative of a fulacht fiadh. Work was stopped until further discussion took place regarding the excavation of the feature. This work was subsequently undertaken by Simon Ó Faoláin (see No. 782, Excavations 2002, 02E1705).
