Testing was carried out on a proposed development site that is beside two clochán hut sites (SMR 52:123, 125) and close to a third (52:124). The best preserved of these monuments, 52:123, was probably not built until the second half of the 19th century, on map evidence. Apart from a small charcoal stain in one of the trenches and modern animal bone, nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
