An assessment was undertaken on the site of two dwelling-houses at Ardcrone, Currans, Killarney, in the area of archaeological potential of a ringfort. Test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the house foundations, driveways and percolation areas. A small area of burning was recorded in the driveway of House Site 2. No archaeological stratigraphy, features or artefacts were recorded in the remainder of the trenches.
