Testing was undertaken in Roganstown in north County Dublin. The development includes the construction of a golf-course and a hotel. A cultural heritage report (dated 12 December 2000) identified several structures here; Rocque’s map of 1760 illustrates three possible structures at this location.

Two 100m perpendicular trenches were excavated across the approximate location of these structures. No material of archaeological interest was identified.
