Monitoring was carried out from 6 to 27 June 2002 at the Little Sisters of the Assumption care home at Patrickswell Place, Finglas. Ground levels were reduced for the construction of a basement and foundations for a new wing. The site lies within the historical town of Finglas and slightly to the north of a revetted earthwork bank known as King William’s Rampart. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the monitoring.
