After monitoring of geotechnical boreholes carried out by Fintan Walsh (No. 546, Excavations 2002), which proved inconclusive, it was recommended that monitoring of groundworks associated with the construction of new platforms be undertaken. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded. The area of excavation was made ground, including areas of modern landfill. Some groundworks remain to be completed, namely the excavation of a subterranean fuel-tank farm.
