Monitoring of geotechnical investigations was carried out at a development site at Ailesbury Road, Dublin 4. The proposed development is to the south of Ailesbury Road, to the rear of Nos 21–43. It is adjacent to the site of a holy well at Nutley Avenue and east of the site of a burial mound (SMR 22:84) at Simmonscourt.
