Monitoring of engineering test-pits was carried out at the site of a proposed residential development on the Nangor Road, Clondalkin, in December 2002. The results showed that over 2m depth of material had been dumped across the site. The dumped material contained modern debris. Natural subsoil was recorded at the base of the test-pits. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded.
