The site was discovered during monitoring of the South-Eastern Motorway. It contained three possible archaeological features, two of which proved to be tree roots. The third feature was a circular pit, 0.3m wide and 0.2m deep. The fill contained burnt clay and frequent charcoal flecking. No finds that could be used to date the feature came from the pit.
