Monitoring took place of the foreshore at Bull Island, Sutton, Co. Dublin, in relation to previous stabilisation works of a marine wreck affected by marine dredging works in Dublin Bay. Hand auguring was undertaken to determine the effectiveness of the stabilisation works and the level of sand cover over the wreck. A number of ship’s timbers have been recovered at intervals along the high-water mark, some of which appear to be typologically related to the wreck. The timbers are currently in temporary wet storage at Sutton.
