A single dwelling with associated garage, septic tank, driveway and services was proposed for a site on elevated ground (80m OD) overlooking Assaroe Lake and the Erne valley to the north, with the coastline at Bundoran visible to the north-west. Monitoring took place because of the proximity of a number of known archaeological monuments. The work was undertaken in May 2002; nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
