The removal of topsoil and the excavation of foundation trenches for a dwelling-house at South-Ring, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, were monitored. The site was near the constraint zone of a ringfort and a burial-ground (SMR 135:108(01, 02)). No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during groundworks.
