An assessment, to include testing, was required before a planning application for a two-storey dwelling at Knockanare, Donoughmore, Co. Cork. The site is in the zone of archaeological potential of a possible ringfort. Six trenches were excavated. No archaeological finds or levels were noted in the trenches.
