A new building was to be erected on the site of two demolished 19th-century houses on Main Street, Innishannon, Co. Cork. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential of the historical town, and a test excavation was carried out on 23 May 2002 as part of an assessment. No finds or features of archaeological significance were revealed during the excavation.
