Pre-construction testing on the site of a five-unit housing scheme was carried out at Rock Road, Cloyne, Co. Cork. The development site is within the zone of archaeological potential of Cloyne, to the immediate east of the graveyard of St Colman’s Cathedral. Eleven test-trenches were excavated; no features of archaeological significance were uncovered.
