Testing was undertaken at a development site at Carrigrohane, Ballincollig, within the zone of archaeological potential of a bivallate enclosure revealed as a cropmark on an aerial photograph. The enclosure is directly north of the proposed development area. Three trenches were excavated at the northern end of the site, close to the enclosure. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
