Test-trenching was carried out within the zone of archaeological potential of an enclosure at Spancil Hill, Muckinish, before the construction of a telecommunications mast. The site compound measured 7m by 6m. Two trenches were inserted by machine in this area. Nothing of archaeological merit was noted.
