This site is beside a partially extant cashel that measures 20m in diameter. Three 1.5m-wide trenches were dug. One trench cut through the enclosure wall, and the other two were immediately to the east. The trenches revealed that the enclosure wall was a combination of earth and stone. No enclosing ditch was noted in any of the trenches. It appears that the cashel has been substantially impinged on by the dumping of field-clearance material. No ditch or external features were uncovered.
