This site was noted in the environmental impact statement as three drystone walls beside a small lake. These were investigated by one trench and proved to be the remains of a low wall. Local information noted that other small walls in this area were demolished. Therefore, it seems likely that the walls are the remains of field boundaries and not of great antiquity.
