Testing was carried out here as part of the N18 Road Improvements, Dromoland to Crusheen, including the Ennis Bypass. This site was identified as an area of archaeological potential. Seven trenches were opened by machine, testing a total area of 105m2. All trenches were excavated down to the natural material. No features of archaeological merit were found.
