Monitoring was carried out before the construction of a proposed wind farm at Snugborough, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan. There are no known archaeological sites within the vicinity of the proposed development, which consisted of nine wind turbines and hundreds of metres of new access road. The development was monitored in its entirety, but no evidence of any archaeological features or finds was revealed.
