Monitoring took place at a development site at Gartnaneane, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, in July 2002. The development comprised the erection of a 36m-high antenna support structure, with associated equipment and access track. It involved the removal of topsoil over an area of 20m by 20m at the site of the antenna and along a strip 135m by 3m for the access track. No archaeological material was identified.
