Monitoring of pre-development topsoil-stripping took place at the proposed development on the north shore of Belfast Lough, close to the late medieval townhouse of Cloch-na-Larty (SMR 52:49). The results revealed that the thin skin of topsoil rested directly on bedrock, and nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
