Dúchas requested testing of the site of a proposed maintenance shed within the development of a golf-course at Ballynamuddagh, Bray. Previous work carried out for the scheme had uncovered a burnt spread c. 25m south-west of the site. The site was on a small plateau within a wooded copse on the western slope of Bray Head, and the excavation of two test-trenches in the location did not reveal any archaeological finds, features or deposits.
