Testing was carried out pursuant to a request for further information by Tipperary S.R. County Council regarding the archaeological implications of the proposed construction of a dwelling-house and ancillary site development works. The site of the proposed development is near two bowl-barrows. A series of test-trenches were opened along the line of the house foundation, driveway and percolation area. No archaeological remains were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
