Monitoring of the groundworks associated with a house site at Ballywire, Kilross, took place in April 2001. The development was located within the zone of archaeological potential for SMR 66:121, a possible settlement, and is to the east of SMR 66:123, an enclosure. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the monitoring.
