A proposed new house with ancillary services lay 20m north-west of a demarcation line for an archaeological complex of Early Christian and medieval character at Killaraght, Boyle. Eight test-trenches yielded stratigraphy of considerable uniformity, but uncovered no features or artefacts of an archaeological nature.
