Pre-development testing took place in advance of the construction of a single house and septic tank. The site is north of Ballydooley village and near two large archaeological complexes, including a field system and ecclesiastical remains. Four test-trenches were excavated to a depth of 0.5–0.7m No archaeological remains or features were uncovered.
