An assessment was carried out on a proposed residential development site at the Hill of Tara, Co. Meath. The development involves the construction of a two-storey dwelling-house with associated site works. The site is within the archaeological complex SMR 31:33.

Three test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development site. Natural rock was exposed within all trenches at an average depth of 0.4m. No finds were retrieved from the trenches and no features of archaeological significance were exposed. The existing property is cut into the base of a small hill and therefore any archaeology, if it did exist at all, would have been removed when the building and associated features were constructed.
