An assessment of this development site was required as the eastern portion lies within the zone of archaeological potential for Dunshaughlin.
Four trenches tested the site, which was disturbed in the past by dumping of building rubble and by removal of topsoil. Three of the trenches were featureless. The fourth exposed two small drainage trenches, running east–west. One was filled with loose black clay, the other was filled with black silty clay and stones. No artefacts were recovered.
