Testing took place at Navan Road, Dunboyne, in advance of construction of a mixed commercial and residential development, in March 2001. Eight test-trenches were excavated over the development area. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered in any of these. A 19th-century building stood on the site. This was surveyed prior to demolition.
