The route of the proposed Baltray–Termonfeckin Sewerage Scheme passes c. 200m north of the possible church site (RMP 25:4) in Beaulieu td, Co. Louth. A test excavation was undertaken over one day in July 2001. Three trenches, each 1.5m by 20m, were opened along the line of the pipe route at the closest point to the presumed location of the church site. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
