Test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed foundations, septic tank and percolation and entrance of a single house site which is beside a church and graveyard, in the townland of Templeglantine, Teampall Ghleanntain meaning ‘church of the little glen’.

Nothing of archaeological significance was recovered from any of the three trenches.
