This site was located within the zone of archaeological potential for the historic town of Rathkeale. There was no stratigraphy noted on the site as it had been previously stripped to natural in order to tarmac the area. All foundation trenches were cut into a yellowish brown boulder clay. Nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered.
