Ground reduction works at the development site of Healy’s Field, Corbally Road, Limerick, were monitored over a period of months in 2001 for pile caps and drainage runs. The site of Healy’s Field, formerly used as a dumping site by Limerick Corporation, has been covered with 1.5–3m of made ground. Monitoring did not reveal anything of archaeological origin.
