Monitoring of the groundworks associated with the conversion of the contractor’s compound at Croom into a public carpark was the final stage of the N20 Croom Bypass construction. The site is located adjacent to Croom Castle. No archaeological features or stratigraphy were encountered, and no artefacts were retrieved during the course of the works.
