Pre-development testing took place for a 21-house development including access roads and related services. A ringfort is located at the southern end of the site and will be avoided by the proposed development. Nineteen test-trenches were excavated to a depth of 0.35–0.5m across the site. No archaeological remains or features were uncovered.
