This was Site 1 of the Celbridge Interchange and was excavated under the monitoring licence. It measured 10m by 10m and was identified as a possible fire-pit and post-hole. Seven contexts were identified in total. C5 was a rounded fire-pit with scorching at its base to a depth of 10mm. It was dug into the natural subsoil and filled with a charcoal deposit. No artefacts were found.
