Eight interconnecting foundation trenches were excavated by machine. They measured from c. 0.5m to a maximum of 1m in width and varied in length from 1.1m to c. 10m. All were excavated to a depth of 0.5m below ground level through a mix of gravel and sand. No artefacts, features, structures or deposits of archaeological significance were uncovered.
