Testing was carried out at Craddockstown West, Co. Kildare, prior to the erection of a mobile phone mast. There are several archaeological sites in the general area of the site under consideration. These include four standing stones, two ring-ditches and two possible earthworks.
Two intersecting trenches were positioned at the site of the proposed mobile phone mast. Despite the high archaeological potential of the landscape in the vicinity of the site, no archaeological material or features were identified.
